  1. Hi Karima, I am from Melbourne =)
So envious that u went to JP with such a haul!
I love the DollyWink lashes, I am using its natural styles no. 9, 10, 11. I bought the lower lashes but haven’t actually tried them yet. No. 9 upper full lash is my current fav. to use for work . Very natural looking and so many ppl has commented on my lashes lol ( I’m a nurse thus tends to use more natural looking one for work).
I got DollyWink’s liquid eyeliner as well. Rather natural looking when apply on, but to be honest, not my fav cuz I prefer eyeliner to be a bit stronger with my dark brown eyes.

    1. Hello, Melbourner! Ooh I’ll check out DollyWink #9! So the DollyWink liquid liner isn’t pitch black, in your opinion? I probably won’t be trying it for a little while (boo!) xxkarima

    2. Yea. The k-palette (real lasting eyeliner 24hrs/ tattoo ), heroine make (smooth liquid eyeliner) , urban decay liquid eyeliner or 1028 (a Taiwan brand), both their ultimate black r magic black) are pretty good if liquid. If gel pencil liner then solone!

  2. Hello!

Nice haul video, I love your mentioning of brushes. Controlled but very accurate choices of products for your whole haul.

I wonder if you have seen the Tom Ford eye blending brush (maybe it’s #13), because I wonder if GSN 10 is very similar to it (I set my eyes on it just after Chikuhodo updates with this new collection in its web site).

    Many thx.

    1. Hey Gladys!
I’m glad you enjoyed the haul. I actually do own the Tom Ford Blending Brush and will be posting comparisons soon but it is somewhat similar to GSN10 but the TF appears to be slightly larger and has more hair.

  3. What an amazing haul! I want to go to Japan to get the Suqqu brushes without having to pay for shipping. Drooling over all of your goodies. 🙂

  4. I love your haul! I would really love to own some more high quality brushes but somehow I always end up investing more money into actual products instead of brushes :/

  5. That’s a great haul 🙂 I got a lot of those items too when I was in Japan last spring and I’m sure you are going to enjoy them. I have a couple of maps I made with the addresses where you can buy chikuhodo and hakuhodo, let me know and I can e-mail them to you if they are of any help.

    1. Ooh, what did you purchase in Japan? 🙂
I have a few resources of my own but if I need any maps in the future, I’ll take you up on that offer 🙂 thank you!

  6. Hi karima, what an amazing haul you have
I’m nabila from indonesia. I went to Japan last februari and absolutely enjoyed the makeup shopping experience. I love it so much I decided to go again This August :p
But i wonder where did you buy the chikuhodo brushes?? I found the hakuhodo store in tokyu dept store, but never came across the chikuhodo. I’d love to buy chikuhodo ones if you would tell where i could find it 😀

  8. Hello, Karima!
Can you, please, give some kind of tiny review about chikuhodo gsn-10? It would be very helpfull.
    Thank you.

    1. Hey Mila 🙂
GSN-10 is a more domed version of MAC 217. It’s quite dense but it’s not as soft as many of the Hakuhodo eye brushes. What are you looking for? xx

  9. Hello, Karima

Thank for your sharing. Can you tell me how different between chikuhodo Z4 and suqqu blush brush ?please

    1. Do you own a lot of pigmented blushers/bronzers? If so, I think SUQQU is a fantastic tool. I think I like it just a little bit more than the Chikuhodo Z4. x

    1. It depends on what you’re looking for! I think Hakuhodo J5523 is a good allrounder, also love the J142. If you’re looking for a much softer, blown-out crease then the SUQQU L is amazing. x

  10. I am going to Japan in September and will be trawling through your blog to find all Japanese related products to add to my shopping list! xxx

  11. I will be visiting Japan next month and I am itching to get the Suqqu blush brush! I have several Hakuhodo brushes and they are lovely but it would be nice to vary my collection by adding some Chikuhodo too 🙂
