Reviews on beauty products that I’ve TOTALLY finished 🙂 Some are fab… some not so fab. We’re talking about the best micellar waters, awesome drugstore finds and high end products that didn’t quite live up the hype!
This is a rather long and chatty one, so if you’re looking for something in particular…

Hey Karima , thanks for that. I’m also an avid fan/user of the garnier miscellar water but will for sure check out the simple one. nice to know I have good taste… My all time favourite mascara is the Chanel, I also couldn’t get away with the benefit roller ball and surprisingly neither with the fairy drops mascara. thanks for the heads up with the la Roche posay lipikar syndet gonna check that out now. Great post, thank you
It’s a great facial cleanser, report back if you try it!

Sorry karima I also meant to add about brush cleaners, having tried both the beauty blender liquid and solid among a few others I have found the bobbi brown one to be the best. It does foam but it cleans and leaves my brushes feeling super super soft…just saying!!!! just wondering if you had tried it?
Haven’t tried that one but I’ll give it a go!

Karima, I’ ve recently found your blog and fall in love with it! We have similar taste in foundation, so I really want to know, do you like Tom Ford Traceless Foundation in the square shape? You didn’t mention it in your favorite foundation post and you didn’t use it on camera, so I wonder whether it is worth buying or not.
It’s very dewy and on the sheerer side, rather similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder. I don’t have a perfect shade match in the Tom Ford right now but the finish is gorgeous – recommend as long as you like sheer bases.

Oh my, Oribe gold lust is expensive! i would totally pay for it if it made my hair style time free. Please explain what it does for your hair I have fine hair that never has body without work.
Olay foaming face wash for sensitive skin is my go to face wash. Bobbi Browm Smoky Eye mascara is one I always have on hand but I am always trying several mascaras in addition. Anastasia Brow Wiz because its ashy enough for me. I love Chanel CC cream until they discontinued my color. I must be fickle because those are my only repeats time after time although I recently tried Burts Bees lipstick and I love it so much it will be a repeat.
Hey JJ,
The Oribe reduces frizz so I don’t have to use heat to tame flyaways, I’m not sure it would help with volume though.

Hi Karima, I’ve heard you can revive dried up cream eye shadows by gently heating them up – I think Wayne Goss blow dries them 🙂 Perhaps worth a try.
I tried just about everything on Mirifique and I couldn’t ever get it back to the light mousse-y texture, unfortunately!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. I just got Sunday Riley Good Genes in the mail and tried iiiiiiiiit. Amazing. Super amazing wow. Totally worth every penny (and that’s a lot of pennies). I tried about 4 tubs of the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads, but wasn’t seeing much difference (I’m allergic to BHA so thought it was worth the try). Good Genes is an instant stunner. Redness around my nose-gone. Blackheads-gone. Super smooth skin-yes. THANK YOU FOR INTRODUCING THIS TO US!! Ok. I’m done exploding. This blog is soo darn goood!!!
Also, I just purchased my fourth IT Cosmetics Brow Power Super Skinny in gray and just panned the Bye Bye Pores pressed powder. Both are amazing and I will continue to repurchase. Also, Buxom mascara! The one in the black tube is perfect for me – finishing up the second tube!
WOOHOO it’s AMAZING right?! Definitely one of my all time favourite skincare products 🙂
