Not that I’m fooling any of you beauty gurus!
For those who are not familiar with this genre of deceit, No Makeup Makeup refers to the application of products so that it appears you are wearing no makeup at all! In short, a more polished, beautiful version of yourself.
Cleverly applied, No Makeup Makeup could consist of 15 products but today, I’ve decided to keep it simple. Additionally, this is the look I tend to wear on an everyday basis. Sheer laziness.
Face- Rouge Bunny Rouge Glide Concealer in Eunice (under the eyes and between the brows). Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer in 7 (on the top of the cheekbones)
Brows- MAC Brow Set in Beguile (to lighten, slightly)
Eyes- Rouge Bunny Rouge Amplitude Mascara (most of the product taken off the wand)
Lips- Boots No7 lipliner in Nude. Embryolisse Lip Balm.
What does your ‘No Makeup Makeup’ consist of?

Absolutely gorgeous! You skin just glows! I’d give anything to have smooth skin like yours š
Hey Annick!
My skin has good and bad days, like everyone. I promise!

Long time reader, first time commenter to say that I am so jealous of the fact that you’re all rosy cheeked and lovely without any blush! You look just as fantastic with a little makeup as you do with all-out smokey eyes. My no-makeup-too-busy-with-finals face has lately been Maybelline bb cream in light/medium all over the face (a tinted moisturizer with spf20- yay for multi-use products!), Lancome hypnose star mascara, elf’s undereye concealer, Tarte amazonian clay blush in dollface, and whatever lip product of the day, usually a Korres lip butter (plum is my favorite), or Clinique’s black honey.
Either that or red lipstick, concealer, mascara, and a bit of a swagger š
Welcome, Hannah!
My rosiness is the bane of my existence- I think it’s a case of the grass is greener. Unless I completely conceal it with foundation, I don’t have much liberty with blush (which sounds fun! I want in!)
Your no makeup makeup sounds so polished! But LOL, I love the bit of swagger. Favourite comment of the month x

Very subtle and very lovely!
Thanks Emi!
PS: your RBR eyeshadow swatches were so helpful when I was planning an RBR haul, so thank you for that, too!

Not wanting to give small children nightmares, I tend to wear a bit more makeup than the average “no makeup” makeup look. LOL. For me it’s concealer, maybe some powder (depending on how oily I am), neutral eyeshadow (NARS Cyprus or MAC Soba), brown liner, mascara, and a neutral lipstick.
Still sounds very minimal, to me! I’d love to see that look, link me!

I dont remember the last time I wore no makeup makeup…everytime I try I end up with more blush or lipstick than planned š
LOL! I frequently intend to do subtle looks and find myself reaching for false lashes. It’s hard to resist, I understand š

Looks beautiful- my no makeup makeup is similar to yours. What a beautiful lip liner- wish we had Boots here in Australia
Hey there,
I read your blog! Welcome š
I’m actually Australian, too! I purchased these while travelling. Lisa Eldridge designed it so dammit, I had to have it š
