I’ve had quite a few requests for step-by-step eyeshadow tutorials so….Here goes!
Step 1:
Prime eye, place tape on your desired angle. Place gold shadow in inner tear duct and inner third (I used UD Half Baked)
Step 2:
Pat a purple shade (I used MAC Star Violet) in the middle of the lid and blend the edges.
Step 3:
Put a dark purple or black shadow into the outer V and blend into the crease. “Push” this shadow into the tape-line. I used UD Rockstar.
Step 4:
Apply your winged liner (I used Geisha Ink liquid liner). Line your upper waterline and then peel off the tape. I also highlighted my brow here using MAC Vanilla.
Step 5:
Apply eyeshadow to your lower lashline in the same order as the top (gold in inner, purple in middle, black on outer). Apply mascara and false lashes, if you are so inclined (I used a few Ardell short individuals in the outer corners).
And you’re done! Here is the full face picture:
Ps: Pardon the scratch on my head, I must be the clumsiest person to walk this earth.
Pss: The tape I used for this eye look is papery surgical tape. Save yourself the agony and don’t use any industrial/strong tapes.
Psss: If you have any feedback on the layout of this tutorial, please comment underneath this post. Was it clear? Too brief? I want ALL TEH opinions.

Absolutely definitely beuatiful!
I struggle with applying liner while I still have the tape on, need to practice that because without it, the line won't be so crisp š
So love this look, Definitely going to give it a try š Oh and the tutorial is great, so easy to understand!!
P.S It's hard to use the scroll bar to scroll down as that sidebar thing keeps popping up ahah

I’d love to know what kind of brush you used…
Back when I did this look, I mostly used MAC brushes- So a 239 and a 217 is a good guess š

I’m 14 years old and I think this may be a BIT bold for me, though I LOVE it! Could you maybe post an eye shadow tutorial like this one, just a bit toned down? If you know what I mean? Thanks!

Hey Azmen!
Maybe opt for more muted colours, in the same placement? That would give a more toned down look.

This is a beautiful look, definitely going to give it a try!
Absolutely š link pictures if you take any. Xx
Your tutorials are the best. I love your foolproof techniques (the tape, instructions like ‘push [the] shadow into the tape-line’ etc.) – they really have inspired me to one day give these looks a go. Go Karima, you just rock <33
Thanks so much, Alex! I try to be thorough, give it a go! x
Freaking awesome! Your steps are fantastic I think I’ll be able to pull this one off.
