Loved this review and the tutorial that went with it. Your videos are so interesting and enjoyable to watch. I feel kind of old that I still think of the Chanel bronzer as “Bronze Universal” though!!
I still think of it as Bronze Universal, too 😉

Benefit Hoola is a favourite of mine, and I also like using MAC Taupe blush as a bronzer.
I actually don’t own MAC Taupe, will check it out 🙂 x
As I told my sister when I sent her the video, I’m not big on bronzer, but I watched this video 4 or 5 time, already bought the burberry stick and have 3 others from your list on my wish list.
I think I need a detox from your channel if I don’t want to get a phone call form the bank.
Haha makeup is an expensive hobby (although not as expensive as a designer bag addiction?)

I’m not really into bronzer, ive got four which rarely see the light of day though I do think they’re lovely. Charlotte tilbury bronze and glow which I use for contour, ysl les saharriene ( probably misspelt that ) Edward bess daydream which is gorgeous and super super soft…it’s hard to overdo with this one and a Dior one which I’m not crazy about. I much prefer contour and blush
I meant to include the CT Bronze & Glow but somehow it was forgotten on my table! I do enjoy that one. xx
THank you!!! I don’t use bronzer – probably scared too and I am lacking in skillz!
Big fluffy brush then dust off the excess, not tricky at all 🙂

Great recommendations! Thank you:)
I was wondering if you could give me advice on a few things?:)
I am looking into buying a guerlain bronzer and I am about your skin tone and haircolour, so very yellow but with soo much redness in my cheeks! A lot of bronzers just look super weird on me, like the hoola for example. Do you think you could recommend a shade?:)
And my second question is that I am looking for shimmery eyeshadow for everyday, just to brighten up my blue eyes, but I really don’t like glitter or very noticeable particles in general. Cream or powder is both fine, just like high end/luxury price tag:) Do you know of a great one?:)
Maybe stila kitten? Or is there something better?:)
And the third: which is your favorite red lipstick? Again looking for some inspiration, since I have a similar skin tone and hair color. Ruby Woo looks stunning on you, but I am curious to know if you have a favorite:)
Looove your videos!!! xxx
Hey Tara,
Is there any way you can test the Guerlain Bronzers in store? Makeup is rather personal so the shades I wear might not be to your liking.
If you’re looking for a soft shimmer for everyday, check out the Burberry powder eyeshadow range. Stila Kitten is lovely but it’s very reflective and it sounds like you’re looking for something subdued.
I have a lot of red lipsticks that I use and adore, Ruby Woo is definitely up there with some of my favourites but the formula is very dry so steer clear if you’re not a fan of that.
xx
Thank you so much for your reply!!:) I went to check out the Bronzers in store and I think that 03 is about right:) I’ll definitely take a look at the burberry shadows next time I have the chance:)
Oh, and I think I am about to order my first suqqu brushes soon, you and Lisa Eldridge have convinced me, looking forward to that:P

Yass karima i miss your blog ! great bronzer selection!
Thanks for watching 🙂

Hi Karima, love your picks as usual. I’m enjoying the Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer right now. It comes in a matte and shimmer version. And like you, I also like the Hourglass Radiant Bronze Light. For the next smackdown, I would really appreciate one on mascaras. All the best for your exams!
