  1. Love the makeup Karima. You look really good focusing on one main feature of your face to highlight. And I think you did a good job of your hair. It’s so unusual to see you in a flowery top as you usually wear black and white or solid colors. It pays to change it up! I wish we could see the whole look from top to toe!

  2. I always admire the cream colour base shades, but as I have oily skin I am afraid of trying them! Such a pity as some are gorgeous. I actually tried to find the powder eyeshadow equivalent of shell once šŸ˜‰

Also, really nit trick about the cream contour. As before, I haven’t given creams a try either.

And finally, nice nice trick about the ponytail. No wonder mine is always wonky, I didn’t know it involved so many steps!

  3. Hi Karima! I am a “mature” subscriber….lets just say, not 48, but not 50 either! I love all of your makeup looks and your general good taste. I was wondering, can a mature woman still do highlighter? If so, what is a good placement? If not, I will live and just use an illuminating primer. Thanks!

    1. Hey Nancy,
What is your skintype? I do apply highlight on more mature skins but I opt for cream formulas that are less frosty and more refined, like the W3ll People Bio Brightener Stick. Placement depends on the face shape but in general, avoid areas with texture or deeper wrinkles.
      Hope that helps šŸ™‚ x

  4. Yay! How to do a pony tail! I always thought models just had smoother hair. Perhaps not! What a great trick! šŸ™‚ Thanks for showing the brows here-I’m going to go for the pomade.
Btw, I am in love with the Urban Decay concealer and Hourglass Veil primer here. They work so well! I introduced my sister to the Urban Decay concealer and we’re both hooked. With the BeautyBlender I apply the Armani corrector then UD with the BeautyBlender, and the formula completely blends in, and it looks like I’m wearing nothing (and as if I’ve gotten the best sleep of my life)! Thank you thank you thank you for such great advice!
