Lightweight foundation with full coverage? Let’s find out! Watch me try the new NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint for the first time and see how it looks after 7 hours! Let me know in the comments what foundation you’d like featured next 🙂

My lip colour is Urban Decay Bad Blood Lip Liner (buy here)

Australians can buy this foundation here.
Americans can buy this foundation here.

I experimented more with application and I still favour a synthetic foundation brush with this formula 🙂

Shade Info

I used the shade Alaska Light 2, which is a decent match for NC25 skin with golden undertones. Alaska Light 2 is NOT olive and is deeper than Koh Gen Do Aqua 213.

I also have Finland Light 1, which I eyeball to be a hair lighter than NC20 with more neutral undertones. NARS is known for their very yellow shade range, so keep that in mind!

  1. Karima, please help! I love watching your videos, and one of the things I really like about your tutorials (maybe a bit weird) is the fact that you don’t use that much blush. And this makes putting a look together much easier for me, because I don’t know how to put blusher on 😀 I don’t have much meat on my cheeks, so when I put blusher on, it looks really fake and obvious 🙁 any tips, please? I can send you photos of my face, if that would help? I’d be eternally grateful for any answer 😀
    Love you and your videos!
