omg Karima!! You looked ADORABLE even with the sniffles!!
Aw thanks beb, I didn’t feel adorable lol.

Karima, you read my mind! I’m definitely going to wear this tomorrow as I have the most horrible puffy-bloodshot-headcold going on right now… Something completely different, I was wondering whether you’d tried the Suqqu Face brush and how it compared to the Rae Morris Pro Powder brush? I really need a powder brush and as I adore my Suqqu Cheek so much I thought I’d bight the bullet for the Face brush. Any thoughts on whether it’s worth it? Thanks SO much, I love your channel to bits and have been devouring all your videos since i found you a couple of weeks ago, you are the BEST!! xox from Munich
They’re way different. Here’s a video by konglishbeauty reviewing some of the RM brushes and providing comparisons to other brushes (Pro Powder review and comparisons start at the 14:15 mark)… https://youtu.be/LYo2sj7ufaU
Thank you so much, that was a great help! Have you tried the Suqqu and, if so, what do you use it for?
Don’t own it personally (it’s way out of my price range), but if I did I’d more likely use it for bronzer than for setting powder. I think. Not sure myself!
Glad the tutorial came in handy 🙂
I don’t own the SUQQU Face Brush but I felt it in store, it seemed denser than the Pro Powder and softer, I suspect.

Beautiful look! Love it!! xo
Thank you! x
Love you videos!
What do you think about the Kat Von D palette? Are you planning to review it?
I really like it so far! It will feature in my Matte Eyeshadow Smackdown, to come 🙂
xx
Your videos always leave me feeling so uplifted 🙂 Hope you feel better soon!
I’m so pleased to hear you say that 🙂 It took a solid 2 weeks but I’m feeling much better now!

Stumbled across your site today and I love your videos. Your enthusiasm about the products makes me want to promptly head out to my local Sephora!!
Welcome! I’m so glad you enjoy the videos 🙂

You’re so pretty even when you’re crook haha. As simple and basic as this look is, it’s actually one of my favourite looks on you. It’s super brightening, flattering and just outright pretty. That YSL shade is right up my alley. I never hear anyone talk about it but it does look amazing on you.
Have you tried MUFE Face and Body? I know it’s very different to the MAC one, but in practice it looks just as skin-like as the MAC and is equally forgiving on flakes. I have severe Rx retinoid flaking at the moment and these are the only two foundations I am able to wear. I think you’d love it!
Thanks Jen! I loved this look too, MUCH DEWY!
I’m actually going to pick up the MUFE Face & Body while in the US, I’ve heard great things 🙂
xx
Thanks for sharing this tutorial. It takes an expert and the best products to achieve results that you can really be proud of. I’m really amaze with how proper makeup application can brighten the face.
Hey Karima, when i went to DJ Sydney ctiy a couple of week earlier, I found that they no longer sell The Balm cosmetics, do you know where I can buy them? Also, rouge bunny rouge, overall, how do they perform, where can I purchase them?
Hey there,
Strange to hear that DJ’s no longer sells The Balm, I’ve seen it in DJ’s Bondi Junction, perhaps call that store?
Rouge Bunny Rouge is one of my all-time favourite brands and can be purchased on their web boutique (google it, it’s the first entry).
