Hello, everyone. Today, I am going to do something a little bit different. I was about to start getting ready for my Q&A video. I have all these new pretty things set in front of me and I thought, "Why not film it?" I can give you my first impressions, have a bit of a chat. I've never done anything like this on my channel but I think it will be fun. I'm going to start by using this new Dior eye primer that I purchased the other day. I was looking for an alternative to MAC Painterly Paint Pot for priming the eyelids and evening out the skin tone. While I really love MAC Painterly Paint Pot, I find that it does tend to look a little bit dry on me at times. So hopefully this will work a bit better. Well, it has done a pretty decent job at evening out the tone of my eyelids but it has coat unevenly in areas. So I'm really not sure how I feel about that one yet. I'm going to move on to my brows and I'm going to use my SUQQU brow pen.

My brows are in such hard condition right now that I don't think much could be done for them. I'm growing them out so they're at that kind of unruly stage. I'm thinking about trying the Stilla brow pen because a lot of people said in my brow smacked down post that it's quite comparable and I think that that would be an interesting compare and contrast. And without fail, I'm getting rosy again. I think it must be this lighting. It makes me a little bit warm or something. Powerful. All right. That's going to have to do. I'm just going to set them with a bit of hairspray and a spooly. I'm going to do the base later because I anticipate that I'll do quite a heavy eye. And for my heavy eye today, I'm going to be using the Viseart neutral palette and this has all matte. And I'm going through a matte face right now.

I really love the transformative powers of matte eye shadows. You can really change the shape of your eye. And I purchased this one because Nikkie Tutorials raved about it and that woman, she could sell me kitty litter. I don't own a cat. So I think what I might do first is taking my Zoeva brush. I'm going to take the bone shade and just run it all over the lid. Sometimes this helps with matte shadows if they're a little bit hard to blend, a base color sort of gives the shadows a bit of a slip. I'm actually quite impressed with this Zoeva brush. It's quite a soft brush. I think it's softer than my MAC 217. I've had major rants about my 217 recently. I don't know if I'm just spoilt for choice or whether MAC brushes aren't as good as they used to be but I'm finding it's so scratchy that I'll pick it up to use it and I'll have to drop it and use something else because my eyelid feels sore. It's quite strange. So this is definitely softer than MAC 217 but I'm not sure that it would be quite as soft as my Hakuhodo crease brushes. But it is lovely.

Next, using that same brush, I'm going to take maybe this shade here. It's like a medium warm brown and I'm going to run that through the crease. Oh hello, that's pigmented. Uh-oh, see I'm going to see if I can do an all matte eye today so I don't think I've ever done one of those in my channel before. That blends beautifully. Wow, so far so good. A few people have asked me about uneven eyelids and I can actually relate here. After my eye surgery, I found that this socket is quite a bit deeper and it's a bit more sunken than this eye so to combat that, what I do is I wore contour discrete, a little bit more heavily so they look a little bit more symmetrical but I promise you most people probably don't even notice that sort of thing. It's probably just us. Next, I'm going to take smaller brushes, a Hakuhodo 1, and perhaps this shade here, more darker brown. I'm just going to curve the outer portion of my socket. I'm going to take this opportunity to ask how are you guys? What have you been up to? That's not a rhetorical question. I'm genuinely interested. Anything new in life? Any new make up you've been loving? Leave me a comment so I can respond and we can have a chat.

Okay, next I'm going to take this awesome redden shade. I'm always drawn to the redden shades in a palette and using a flat shade of brush, I'm just going to press that all over the lid. Oh wow, okay, much piquant. Wow. Very color. And I think I might take just a little bit of this black because I think it's always the ultimate test to see how good a black is in a palette, whether it's pigmented, whether it's truly black. Let's have a look. It's definitely black but I wouldn't say it's as black as Make Up Geek Corrupt, which is the blackest eye shadow that I've ever tried. I think I'll take this one because I haven't used it yet, another medium brown. I do think that this palette has quite a good range of warms and cools. Probably it leans a little bit more warm than cool but there are some really good cool shades. I think it's very versatile. I said this was going to be an all matte look but obviously, I lied because I can't resist a shimmery inner corner highlight. In here, I have just one of my neutral palettes. This has a bit of MAC, a bit of Make Up Geek, a bit of everything. And I'm going to take nylon and I always know nylon in my palette because it's the most obnoxious frosty color and I wouldn't use it anywhere else except the tear duct.

Okay, I'm going to do a little wing, something subtle and something soft. Lately, I've been favoring eye shadows instead of say liquid liner or gel liner, whatever, just because it's so easy, so easy and if you make a mistake, it's really easy to correct. So I'm going to take my new Zoeva brush, this is the detail liner and I'm very picky about liner brushes, so this could go all wrong. I'm going to spray it with a bit of Fix Plus then I'm going to dip it in to my Make Up Geek Corrupt which is the blackest eye shadow that I've ever come across. Now, I reserve a portion of this pen for use wet because some eye shadows don't play well when they're wet and they conceal so you actually stop getting pigment from it, so it's always good practice to reserve a little portion of the pen for the brushes. I tend to look straight ahead because I have quite a heavy crease. So if I look straight ahead and I see where my crease ends, I need to avoid that area entirely when I do my eyeliner. Because if it goes through my crease, it's going to be quite hard to smoothe it out so that's kind of my tip for winged liner if you have heavy eyelids like myself.

Okay, so not the best winged liner I've ever done. I feel like this Zoeva brush, the detail liner, applies the product a little bit patchy but it might whip it with other formulas. I'm going to give my eyelashes a quick curl just to expose my lash line for tight lining. Okay, and for tight lining, my favorite tight lining product ever, this is the Rouge Bunny Rouge long lasting eye pencil. Have I raved about this enough? I feel like I rave about it all the time but I will again for my newer viewers, this is just the best product for tight lining because it really stays put. It doesn't even migrate down so low the lash line. Okay, for lashes today, I'm going to do a really natural simple pen. These are the Ardell 301s and I think these are just the ideal lash for a beginner because they are half lash. They're super easy to apply. The band is really flexible and they just give the outer eye some lift.

Burb, burb, must get my tweezers. Must get tweezers. I really applaud people who can put on false eyelashes with their fingers. I saw Sharon Farrell, the make up artist, do that once – apply individual eyelashes with her fingers. That is incredible. I definitely need some sort of implement tweezers preferably to apply my lashes. Fasio, Fasio Ultra Curl Lock mascara long. I purchased this in Japan. Remember when I went to Japan. I want to go back to Japan. But I hadn't opened it because I have like my 14 mascaras in rotation right now, make that 15. I haven't tried it yet. Ooh, it's got like a curve one and I see little fibers hanging out of it. Let's give this a go. Overall, I quite like it. I think it's quite nice. It's definitely more lengthening than voluming. Voluming? Voluming.

Now that I'm looking like a royal mess, let's get on to the base make up. I have here – this was such a wild card purchase – it's an Elegance Green Primer. I don't know, I just thought I sometimes have flush skin obviously so I thought this might be nice to try. I'm sensing a slight white cast. Does this have sunscreen? Yes, it does have sunscreen. So if you are a little bit deeper than me, you might find the white cast to be a little bit bothersome. All right, while that primer is setting or settling or whatever it's going to do, I'm going to put on some under eye concealer. I purchased the Clinique airbrush because Lisa Eldridge use that all the time and I've used it on one occasion and I've got to say I'm not sure that I like it. I'm going to try it again.

I'm going to give it another go but for my first impression, it was a bit dry looking under the eyes and at the end of the day, I had some creasing and I don't normally suffer from creasing. So I don't know, let's go again. Yeah, I don't know. To me, it just looks a little bit dry and texturally it's not what I want it to be but I'll come back to it in the next concealer smack down. I've got lots of new contenders. All right, next I'm going to put on some foundation and you guys are not going to be surprised, I'm going to be using the Armani Lasting Silk and the Le Blanc De Chanel and today, I'm going to do like a 70/30 ratio because I already have a white cast going on on my skin. I just really love this combination. And a few people have asked me to do a review on the Le Blanc De Chanel and trust me, I really want to but I can't quite seem to articulate myself why it's great and I don't think that photographs are going to capture it, so honestly I don't even know. I'll try to do one. I'll try to take some photos.

All right and to apply this, I'm going to use the Zoeva 110 Face Shape, which looks like a baby real techniques buffing brush, and it's quite soft. It's synthetic so we shall see how this goes. And obviously it's quite a small face brush which might not be to everyone's taste but I like it. So I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that primer. My foundation has looked better but I have a slight white cast now so I'm going to use this Rouge Bunny Rouge bronzer and I like this one because it's not too warm. So I don't get excessively golden when I use it. Okay, that looks a bit better. Now, for blush, because today I'm going to wear blush despite the fact that I'm naturally blushing, I don't care. I feel like wearing a brush and I'm going to try out for the first time MAC Warm Soul. This kind of reminds me of Luminoso a little bit, Milani Luminoso, one that I absolutely adore. I'm going to use a Chikuhodo Z4. Oh yeah, that's pretty. This is up my alley. I'm going to do a quick contour. This is Make Up Store Masai. There is a Make Up Store really close to my house. It's very dangerous and Make Up Store matte eye shadows are also fantastic. They're very buttery. They're very soft and I think this one is just the perfect shade for a contour because it's quite ashy and you guys know how I feel about ashy contours.

I'm going to use this Zoeva brush and it reminds me a bit of the NARS ITA brush, you know, that one that everyone raves about. I own that and if I can be entirely honest with you, I don't like it. I think that the quality is kind of scratchy. Again, maybe I'm just spoilt for choice but I don't think it's a particularly well made brush; whereas this one feels quite soft. So let's see how it goes. For lips, I have a lipstick here and there's actually a story behind this lipstick. I don't know if it's amusing or absurd or just pathetic. The other day I was at the Uni Bookstore buying textbooks. It's the dullest activity you could imagine. And I don't even know why my greedy little eyes were looking for make up in a bookstore but I found some. I found some make up in the bookstore. So this is a Karen Murell Lipstick in Sandstorm. It's like a nude shade and I think Karen Murell is New Zealand based and it's one of those no-nasty brands, sort of nothing nasty touches my lips is their little tag. I am going to put on a bit of a lip liner. I just feel like really big luscious lips today so I'm going to be using the #7 nude lip liner which is just a really great shade even for people who don't like lip liner because it's very much the natural shade of lips.

I don't know some people call this over lining your lips. I call it maximizing. And that is I believe is the end of my make up. Did you guys enjoy this? Because I really enjoyed this. If you did, you should type me a comment and let me know so that I can do them a little bit more frequently because I actually find this to be really fun. I am now going to go film my Q&A video and I hope you guys will have a wonderful day. And I will see you very soon. B-bye.

  1. You should so do videos like this more often! They’re fun to watch and give people like me, who have no idea what to do with all of the magical makeup products piled in front of me, a guideline to go by so we don’t end up looking like a child that got into their mother’s makeup bag!

Oh and I received my By Terry Rouge Terrybly in Bare Instinct last week, and I love it SO MUCH! I am sure that if unicorns were real it would be the color of their lips. πŸ˜‰ I am saving up now to purchase Carnal Attraction, Funky Ruby and the Rose de Rose in coral and fresh rose! Ahhh πŸ™‚

    1. I definitely should! They’re very fun to film πŸ™‚
Ohhh I love Bare Instinct! It’s an interesting colour right? Very unique πŸ™‚ Carnal Attraction is another beautiful one. Rose de Rose are very shimmery FYI, but if you like shimmer then go ahead! x

    1. I’m very religious about my skincare, with an emphasis on chemical exfoliation. You can find my detailed skincare routine on my channel πŸ™‚ x

  2. Love the video! Feels like chatting with a friend! Keep them coming!
I love your finished look, and how you manage to correct the odd color of the primer.
Loving lately: my Ellis Faas eyeshadows and the l201 red lipstick. There was a red lipstick for me, after all!
Sending loads of good vibes your way!

  3. I was so excited to see you review the viseart palette. I might have to get that one. I need Masai in my life as well. How much was it? I might have to visit the Broadway store. I have wanted to order from hakuhodo for ages and was wondering whether the gray squirrel chikuhodo brushes are worth the splurge as well or are hakuhodo’s goat brushes comparable?

    1. The Viseart palette is truly amazing <3 It has won a place in my heart. Masai is 35AUD or 20USD (wtf?) but if you sign up for VIP, you can get invites to 20% off storewide.
IMO, Chikuhodo and SUQQU squirrel face brushes are not comparable to Hakuhodo goat brushes. Different fibres, different brushes. Squirrel is worth the splurge, IMO. x

  4. Karima, that thumbnail is stunning! I would not be surprised if you were asked to become a model for any of the brands that you talk about. And I would buy it ALL.

Will watch this after I get home. Looking forward to it! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  5. Ever since trying TF$ Cocoa Mirage on your recommendation, I have been obsessed with matte eye looks. I used to think matte eyeshadow = dry, chalky, boring and ageing, but I really appreciate the sexiness and sophistication of them now, especially when doing a matte smokey eye. There’s just something about matte eyeshadow that make eyes look super elegant and pretty which I can’t seem to put a finger on.

This is such a gorgeous look! Warm matte eyes = win in my books. I really enjoyed the video and your fun personality.

I’m intrigued by Le Blanc De Chanel. Would it work for someone who’s more tanned, say NC30-35, or would it leave too much of a white cast? Also, does it do any of typical primer jobs? E.g. Blur pores and textural imperfections, pro-long the wear of foundation, etc.

Sorry about all these questions. Maybe I should just wait patiently for your review, if you do do one (pretty puhleaze?) haha.

    1. Funny you should say that, my obsession with TF Cocoa Mirage motivated my matte obsession, too!
Like you, I thought mattes were boring and dry but when you find a good matte formulation, a matte eye can be really interesting.
Regarding Le Blanc de Chanel, if you mix it sparingly with your foundation, you shouldn’t get any white cast. Do you have any summer foundation shades? It will lighten the tone about half a shade (depending on mixing ratios) but it’s a good way to use slightly dark foundations.
I’ve found that it makes my base look more plump and luminous and helps with textural issues like flakiness. I don’t think it helps with longevity though.
      I will try to do a review πŸ˜› x

  6. s t u n n i n g. also i really like this video format! it’s nice to see you cut loose; you’re a natural in front of the camera πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks, Jules! I actually purchased a new camera which gives me more room for movement (I don’t have to sit entirely still to stay in focus). It’s like a breath of fresh air! x

  7. The Stilla eyebrow pen is a great alternative for those who cant easily get ahold of Suqqu products. However it dries up REALLY fast. Like i used mine every second day and it dried up within a month. Apparently its a common problem. And the flow of product can be patchy.
    Love the video!

    1. I agree with everything. The tip on Stila’s pen is also quite a bit larger/wider, so it’s less precise. And while I don’t have the brown shade in Suqqu, I can say that the Stila pen is MUCH warmer than Suqqu’s Moss Green, which is my HG. I tend to use Moss Green to fill in my pesky bald spots, and then a little bit of Stila just to blend it all. Mostly just because I need to use up the Stila pen.

  8. Karima – this video is so fun. I loved it.

I seriously think I need to block your blog from my web browser. I end up buying something everytime I read your blog. I really (really) want the viseart palette now. When I discovered you I had ONE TerryBly Rouge (now I have 7 and an 8th is on the way), I had ZERO Suqqu brushes (I have 5 on the way along with an eyebrow pen), I now have an amazing RBR eyeliner for tightlining, Chanel Notorious, and I could go on and on and on. You are amazing. If these companies aren’t paying you, they should. Although that would make me sad – one of the things I love most about your channel is your completely unbiased (and expert) view. I consider your recommendations GOLD (I haven’t been let down once) and wouldn’t want you to be even subliminally influenced. πŸ™‚

PS. Tried the Geisha Ink eyebrow pen again and I decided that I like it after all. πŸ™‚ Looking forward to getting my Suqqu for comparison sake.

    Thanks for all you do!!
    xo sj

    1. Hey SJ πŸ˜€
Nooo don’t block me D: I enjoy your input! If you’re looking at purchasing the Viseart palette, hold off for a bit because they commented on my instagram with a possible offer for a code (which could be handy for us, I kinda want one of their new palettes EEP!).
By Terry, RBR and SUQQU are solid makeup purchases πŸ˜‰ Pure quality.
How awesome is the RBR liner for tight lining?! Nobody talks about it, cray.
Nobody is paying me (sadly, for my bank account) but that’s not a road I’ll venture, makeup is my first love and that would take the fun out of it.
I’m glad you like my work πŸ™‚ And thank you for your comments! A pleasure to read.
      xx

  9. I will have to get the viseart, then. US prices are always better unfortunately, but I haven’t been able to find them online. I might have to look into splurging on a chikuhodo brush, then.

    1. I just said to SJ, hold off for a bit on the Viseart palette because they might offer us a code (Viseart commented on my instagram).
PS: 20% off Makeup Store tomorrow (thursday) at the Broadway store between 6-8pm, check their instagram!!
      xx

  10. Loved this video. Frankly, it is your ‘fault’ (a google search for a review on Tom Ford shade and illuminate) that I have become completely obsessed with utube makep tutorials. Your wit and dead on reviews fan the flames my insatiable lemming beauty product appetite. My husband compares me to my 10 year old daughter and my ridiculously expanding collection has wonderful additions like RBR (like it needed any). At the end of the day, an enjoyable obsession with quality content providers like you, Lisa Eldridge and others has – for me- resulted in great product hauls, better application techniques, fun entertainment, and more confidence – who could ask for more? Thanks so much!

  11. This is a beautiful look. I immediately google searched the palette – $80 USD πŸ™ Oh well, Stila’s In the Know palette is another all matte palette option and at a less expensive price point.

I recently received my Torrid Rose lipstick (a purchase inspired by you), and I love it! The formula is wonderful and the color is just beautiful. Your recommendations are seriously dangerous for my wallet πŸ™‚

    1. Hey Ashlyn!
It is a pricy palette, aimed at pro makeup artists. The Stila palette is a good alternative!
Ohhh Torrid Rose πŸ™‚ Love that one. I’m so glad you like it, too! The formula is unbeatable IMO πŸ˜‰ x

  12. Hi, Karima!
Can’t wait for a post on Le blanc the Chanel, I’m intrigued. Would it work well with MAC’s Face and Body foundation? Also, I am in a matte eyeshadow phase right now, too. Is there any good dupe for the Viseart palette that I could find in the UK?

    Love your work :))

    N

    1. Hey Nadia!
I don’t know how F&B would mix with Chanel Le Blanc De Chanel, I avoid mixing F&B with other formulations because it has fill formers which may interact poorly. If you’re looking for Viseart, you can buy it off Camera Ready Cosmetics (they do international shipping) but I’m afraid I can’t recommend a dead on dupe if you’re looking for something more affordable- maybe one of the Stila palettes? Or the Lorac Pro? They seem to have a good selection of mattes in a handy palette.
      xx

  13. This video was a lot of fun to watch! Whatever format, all your videos are addictive. And like others said, dangerous for our wallets πŸ˜‰ So you’re liking your Viseart palette so far? From the video it looks both super pigmented and very bleandable (is that a word?). I think I need it! Will hold on to see if they give some promo code as you mentioned, fingers crossed. My trip to New York is almost here πŸ™‚ Thanks to Panties recommendation I will be stopping by at Barney’s. I am already dreaming of all the new makeup I will be getting *happy puppy face*
I actually really liked your front-on shot. Because your bone structure is amazing and you can appreciate it there, a lot. I am always amazed at your contouring skills. You make it look easy (though is not) and do it subtly but effectively. Really, I kept looking back and forth your shot without makeup and the final one, trying to see what else was going on, because your features are carved in beautifully. Don’t you love the transformative power of makeup?

    1. Hey Catalina πŸ˜€
I am LOVING the Viseart palette, fantastic quality. For a second there is looked like I was going to have an unblended mess but it worked out really well, they blend like a dream πŸ™‚ I’ll contact them again regarding that promo code because I haven’t heard back.
Front on shots are kinda my worst enemy LOL. Makeup is a miracle worker! I think my face starts to take shape after my base is on because I have redness (around the nose, on the cheeks) that tends to obscure my bone structure. Obviously, I also contoured lol.
Thanks for your comment πŸ™‚ xx

  14. Love it! And with ‘it’ I mean everything, your lovely conversation, your personality, your beauty, the products… Haha this must actually sound creepy, but what I actually want to say is your video’s help me a lot in developing some real make up skills :)!

  15. LOVED this makeup-look! But, may I ask, could you maybe tell me how you styled your hair in this tutorial? It looks gorgeous πŸ™‚ And also, may I ask the name of your hair color? Or how you would best describe it? Thinking about changing up my hair a bit, and I really love your color πŸ™‚

    Thanks!

    Lots of love <3

  16. This just may be my favorite makeup video ever! I also have heavy eyelids and your video was more helpful on how to do a winged eye than anything I’ve seen. It seems straight forward, but I wouldn’t have thought about it on my own – so thank you!

I also love all the random comments and musings, so you’ve got my vote for more videos like this! Thank you for your blog!!

    1. Hey Autumn πŸ™‚
So glad you found it helpful! Once it clicked to me that I had to steer clear of the crease, winged eyeliner was no longer the bane of my existence lol.
      Thanks for your comment!
      xxkarima

  17. Thanks for filling me in on your hair! Really appreciate it πŸ™‚ I also had one more question (sorry for nagging): I live in Norway, and that means that i can’t get a hold of that beautiful lipstick you used in this tutorial πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ So I’m wondering if you know of a dupe? Or a color thats pretty close to the one you have on here? Fell in love with it <3

    Thanks again!

  18. love this video! What’s new? Hmm… funny story. Our family moved to Papua New Guinea from America a few months ago, and here everyone asks me if I am Chinese even though I have absolutely no Asian anything in my blood! I guess my eyes are more almond than the typical European, and my eyelids are a bit hooded. But no one in America has ever asked me if I was part Asian lol. I tried changing my eyeliner, etc, and asked my PNG friend if I still looked Chinese, she said yes- so at least I know it’s not the way I did my makeup! New makeup love: Suqqu Creamy Glow Moist Lipstick and Suqqu Bright Up Lipstick. So very moistrous and pretty, but I am saving up to try ByTerry Carnal Attraction since it looked so stunning on you!

  19. What a great video! I learn so much about diffused application by just watching how you handle your brushes. And by the way, my kitten is entranced by your voice! She loved watching the video, and quickly mastered her first cat eye πŸ˜‰

  20. I loved watching your tutorial and something struck me – I had never thought about doing a white base to a foundation. I am very pale, Chantecaille Alabaster if that helps any..and it might be a touch too dark. Anywho I’m VERY VERY neutral. (Oily so oily in the tzone)

Would you recc doing a Chanel white base with the GA foundation for this kind of skin/color? If not what has mixed well with the Chanel base for you? Medium coverage would be awesomesauce.

    1. Hey Sarah!
Sounds like mixing with a white base might help you, if you want to lift the Chantecaille Alabaster half a shade to a shade. You can mix the Chanel Le Blanc De Chanel with most foundations but keep in mind: it makes the formula more luminous and sheerer. If you’d just like to lighten without any changes to formula, I’d recommend Face Atelier Zero Plus. Hopefully this helps πŸ™‚ xx

  21. Hi Karima! I absolutely adore this look, but i tend to have problem with eyeshadow. You see, i have short eyelids (it is odd and hard to explain but think asian eyes minus the double lids) and when i open my eyes, barely any of the beautifully coloured shadow shows up, leaving me no choice but to only contour for the rest of my life. Anyways, do you have any tips for this? I’d appreciate it πŸ™‚

  22. Just stumbled on your blog via Beauty Reductionista, and I’m an instant fan! You seem like such a lovely, fun person and this makeup look is gorgeous! 100% loved the whole thing πŸ™‚

  23. Hi Karima,
I was interested to hear your comments about the Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting Eye Pencil as I’ve been looking for something that won’t transfer to the lower lash line. But I noticed that the product description says β€˜not suitable for the inner eyelids’. I guess this is just the manufacturer being overly cautious, but I’m not really clear on what makes (some?) waterproof eyeliners unsuitable for the waterline – is it just that they can dry out the area? This obviously hasn’t caused you any problems, but would you consider this pencil suitable for everyday wear on the waterline?
Many thanks – love your work!

    1. Hey Cara!
I aim to use the Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting eye pencil between my upper lashes so not technically on the waterline. Personally, it doesn’t irritate my eyes but perhaps there is a pigment or ingredient may cause irritation and I’m afraid you’d have to try it to find out. Generally I take these warnings into account but whether you choose to avoid them is up to you.
In terms of efficiency, the pencil is amazing and doesn’t run/smear! x

  24. Hi Karima,
I would love to know if the Viseart – Neutral Palette Matte 01 is the same quality if not better than the Tom Ford eye shadow quads? More so than the pigmentation I’m really interested in knowing if it is as creamy and as smooth going on as the Tom Ford. If that makes any sense?

    1. Hey Marie,
In my opinion, the application and blending of the Viseart is very comparable to the Tom Ford formula, I love both equally πŸ™‚ Very easy to blend and creamy. It’s actually easy to over blend; if you find this bothers you, use a base like MAC Paint Pot (something grippy).
      Hope this helps!
      xx

  25. I’m a newcomer to your website and I loved the tutorial! You’re just so gorgeous, it’s insane πŸ˜›

Anyway, it’s unfortunate that some of the products aren’t sold here, but hopefully you’ll make some more vids featuring brands like NYX, Revlon, Too Faced, Benefit, etc.

    hugs and kisses from Indonesia!

  26. I just came across this look (again) on google!
First time I discovered in youtube long ago, and it was how I found about your channel and blog. I must say this is still my favorite look of yours <3
