  1. Beautiful Look Karima! I think I need the IT cosmetics pressed powder in my life! Looking forward to your next post as always. xo

  2. That was an exceptional video. The makeup looks stunning, the lightest look on the skin — delicate, dewey, perfection. Thank you for sharing the way you staggered the products to create glow within toward the inner bone structure. lovely.

  3. Great video! šŸ™‚ That contour palette looks so tempting!

You mention choosing a foundation suitable to your skin type. I too love KGD Aqua in 213; it’s my daily foundation, but my skin already leans dewy so I’m on the look out for something similar is a more matte finish. I currently apply this foundation with a beauty blender which looks great at first, but doesn’t last all day on me. Do you have any suggestions or advice? Do you prefer applying KGD Aqua with a brush? I search for less dewy foundations in a similar shade to 213, but it’s a tough find, as you know!

    1. Hey Amy,

It’s tricky finding that cool KGD 213 cool yellow undertone. Do you set your foundation with a powder? Do you use a primer? Both will help to create a matte finish, application has less effect on finish.

  4. Omg that looks so good. I think I need to try the pressed powder featured here. I am currently using the Chanel Les Beiges All In One Healthy Glow Fluid, and it sits quite “dewy.” However, by the end of the day my face looks less dewy and more oily. Do you think that Bye Bye Pores powder here will help with that or do you think that is just a characteristic of the Les Beiges? P.S. My skin type is dry cheeks but a tendency for slightly oily nose, chin, and forehead after a long day. I started using the Facial Radiance pads (only on my nose, chin, and forehead) you recommended in a previous video, and my sister noticed tonight that my skin texture looks wonderful! Thank you!!!

    1. So glad you love the Facial Radiance Pads! They’re great for ‘mixed’ skin types like yours šŸ™‚

In terms of oiliness, I do recommend setting oily areas with a powder and the Bye Bye Pores is one of my favourites.

You may also opt for a primer, just in the areas that tend to develop excess shine. Some of my favourite primers: Hourglass Veil, Benefit Porefessional, Max Factor Face Finity and the like.

      xx

  5. Karima, do you prefer the UD setting spray to others? I’m specifically wondering how you like it compared to the Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix.
